Greetings Master, Greetings Fellow Practitioners,

I started to practice Falun Dafa in 1996, about 21 years ago. Before practice, my health condition was poor, with all kinds of illness such as asthma, etc. I had to take medicine all year long, my life was painful, and since my health condition was so poor, I had to retire before 50 years old. After cultivating Falun Gong, all illnesses were gone. For the past 21 years, I don't have to take any medicine. Now I'm over 70 years old, and I feel very energetic. When I walk, or work together with young people, I can even do faster than them. All of these are from the practice of Falun Dafa. Master has given all of these benefits to me. This year is the 25 years’ anniversary after Dafa was taught to the public. I'd like to take this opportunity to share my cultivation experience.

1. Being able to read Zhuan Falun after obtaining wisdom from cultivation

I have almost not attended any school, and don't know how to write my own name. When I started to practice, I can only listen to other practitioners' reading during Fa study sessions. I wished I could read Zhuan Falun myself. Master said in Teaching the Fa at the Conference in Canada, "Let's say, for example, there is a person who can't read, and yet he sees that all other practitioners are moving forward, reading the books, or even memorizing the Fa. He thinks, 'I can't even read a word. What can I do?' He's deeply worried. His righteous thoughts are genuinely from his true heart. Many people in this situation study very hard and find that they are gradually able to read. There have been many examples of this." At that time, our family had a shop doing decoration business, I was helping my spouse doing some work there. I managed to obtain a copy of Zhuan Falun book, and whenever there was a chance, I'd ask my spouse to teach me how to read. At the beginning, it was very difficult, but I believed in what Master said. If Master says I can do it, I'll surely be able to do it. So, I went to group Fa study session every day, and the assistant helped me in great patience and encouraged me to read aloud. Even if I was not able to read fluently, and did not know many words, fellow practitioners kindly tolerated that, and helped me patiently as well. Under that kind and compassionate environment, I was able to learn the words very quickly and was able to read Zhuan Falun after a few months. From the depth of my heart, I knew it was all because of Master's help, and the power of Dafa.

2. Overcoming tribulation

One day back in 2007, my body suddenly became very painful, also at times very chilly, then very sweaty. The symptom was like Malaria. It reached to a point that I was so uncomfortable and did not know how to deal with it. Then I heard a voice was telling me "this is dissolving your karma, this is dissolving your karma!" I couldn't help laughing and went to sleep, disregarding whether it was cold or hot, completely ignoring it, just keeping a strong mind that I'm a Dafa practitioner and I don't have illness. After a few hours, I woke up and all these uncomfortable symptoms all went away. Truly as Master said in Hong Yin Volume II, "Send righteous thoughts, and rotten demons explode". From then on, no other physical interference has happened to me. This is yet another manifestation of Dafa's power.

Another tribulation was when I was walking on a street one day, I was hit by a bike and fell to the ground and bled a lot. I was not able to get up by myself at that point, and the biker ran away. At that time, I just had one thought in my mind "I'm a practitioner, Master is protecting me, and there will be no danger". My husband was with me at that time, he asked me if I wanted to go to hospital. I said "no". After getting back to home, my kids all criticized their father for not taking me to hospital. I told them that "it's me who did not want to go". After learning about this accident, my relatives also came to my home to see me, and suggested me to go to the hospital. I said: "everything will be fine, don’t worry". The second day, I did the exercise and meditation as usual, and my body recovered very quickly. So, my family members also got the opportunity to learn Dafa is good.

3. Truth clarification and validating the Fa

In 1999, then Chinese communist head Jiang started vicious persecution against Falun Gong. Like many other practitioners, 11 other fellow cultivators and myself also went to Beijing to validate the Fa. We intended to use our cultivation experience as examples, to let people know Falun Dafa is good. When we arrived at Tiananmen square, we were stopped and interrogated by the police. After finding out we were Falun Gong practitioners, the policemen detained us and sent us to an unknown place and put us into cages. In that evening, two women took us to the office building that belongs to our local government. We were illegally detained there for 18 days, and all our money were robbed by them. After that, they brought us back to our local city and put us into the local detention center where we had to stay together with inmates who have committed wrongdoings such as drug abuse, etc. During day time, we were forced to do heavy labor construction work, and in the evenings, we were forced to attend brain washing sessions. The purpose was to force us to give up cultivation. Fellow practitioners would say "Falun Dafa is good" loudly together, in order to resist the persecution. After one month, their brainwashing was in vain, and they had to release us from the detention center.

Six days before the Chinese New Year in 2001, the policemen tried to break into my home in the evening, but without success. Then, the next day of Chinese New Year, they came again, and took away my Dafa books and Master's portrait. Again, we were put in the detention center. It was very cold in the prison cell. A thick layer of ice was formed in the restroom. We were forced to sleep on the ground without any padding or blanket. One fellow practitioner suggested we go to hunger strike, and we all agreed. These policemen in the detention center were afraid, and a few days later, we were released. Later on, we learned that the evil CCP just conducted self-immolation hoax on Tiananmen Square, and the local government was afraid that we would go to Tiananmen square to appeal again. That was apparently the reason we were detained at that time.

4. Using righteous thoughts and wisdom to disintegrate the persecution and protect a fellow practitioner.

After the Nine Commentaries on the CCP was published in 2004, I started to clarify the truth to the public and help people quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. I didn’t know how to use a computer. Thanks to Master's arrangement, I got to know a young practitioner who was a college student. He helped me enter the Tuidang (quit CCP) name list I collected on the Tuidang web site.

One day, one local practitioner was abducted by the policemen, and was facing illegal trial. In order to expose the evil and help the fellow practitioner, other practitioners collected phone numbers of policemen who were involved in this case. But no one knew how to send the information to the Minghui web site. I learned about this and got the phone numbers and gave to the college student to send to Minghui. Then, after the numbers were published on Minghui, overseas practitioners (from Taiwan, USA, Canada, and all over the world) started to intensively call the police station, court, etc. These bad people were scared, and wanted to find out who sent their numbers to Minghui. Eventually they found it was me who did it. However, they knew I did not know computer, and could not do that myself. So, they wanted me to tell them who sent the information to Minghui. I certainly refused. However, they did not give up, and threatened me. One day I got an idea (although this may have not been the best way). I told them that it was done by me. I received a phone call from overseas practitioner and I gave the information to her and she published the phone numbers on Minghui. They then asked who's the overseas practitioner? I said it was a western name, I don't remember exactly. Then they asked "why so many people call us for such a small thing?" I replied "Were they mad about you?" They said "no". I then asked "is the person abducted by you guys a good person?" They answered "yes, that person is good". Finally, I said "the calls from overseas want you guys to do good things, to release a good person. What's wrong with that?". They could not find any words to reply. Since they could not get anything from me, they detained my husband and tried to find out more information from him. Since my husband did not know anything, at last, they had to release us. An apparently vicious persecution was dissolved by our righteous thoughts and acts. I'm very grateful to Master!

5. Clarifying the truth and saving people

For many years, I've been clarifying truth to people by talking to them face to face. Although I'm not an educated person, Master gives me the wisdom. I can talk to anyone from all walks of life, and find a way to help them realize Falun Gong is good based on their personality and background. I clarify the truth in all public locations including bus station, park, supermarket, school, hospital, etc. Basically, I would clarify the truth wherever I go. I did not intentionally count how many people I helped to quit the CCP. An estimated 80% of the people would quit the CCP after I clarified truth to them. For elderly people, the percentage could be more than 90%.

One day I saw a middle-aged gentleman at a bus station. He looked like a person with high social status. I greeted him with "Hi Sir, you look well educated. you must have high social status. Where are you working now?" He said: "working for the government". So I knew he must have been an official, most likely a CCP member. Then I asked "do you know about the matter of quitting the CCP?" He used his hand sign to indicate he didn't want to talk about this. He said: "Don't talk about this. I'm working for the government." I said: "I need to talk to you about this. It is a big matter. You see, the CCP wants people to fight against heaven, against earth, and promote class struggles. How come we humans can fight with heaven and earth? In terms of class struggle, who's the state enemy? A few decades ago, rich people were classified as state enemy. In the past, people worked hard and saved money in order to be rich. Nowadays, corrupted officials all have huge amount of money. Some even have billions. Taking Xu Caihou as an example, it took 6 trucks to move his treasures, and there was so much cash in his basement, such that it could not possibly be counted. So, his cash has to be weighed by big weighing scale. The CCP is rotten from inside out. We all know communism is not from China. It was imported from outside China. In the past 60+ years, it killed so many Chinese people through all kinds of propagandas. Especially the persecution against Falun Gong is most vicious. How come you will be a part of it? Let me help you quit the CCP and remove the bad vows you promised when joining the party, so that you will be protected by heaven in future. Is it Ok?" He agreed. After that, he was willing to accept other truth clarifications I told him.

After I came to USA, I continued to clarify the truth whenever there was an opportunity for me to meet with fellow Chinese people. In the past few years, I helped some Chinese international students and overseas Chinese people to quit the CCP. One time, I met an elderly Chinese man next to our neighborhood. I greeted him: "old brother, are you exercising your body here?" He replied "yes, do you live here as well?" I said: "yes, in a close-by neighborhood. How long have you been in the USA?" He said over 20 years. I asked: "have you joined the CCP while you were in mainland China?". He said he did join the CCP. Then I told him about quitting CCP. He asked if I'm a Falun Gong practitioner. I told him my health condition was very poor, however, after practicing Falun Gong, I'm doing so well that I've not taken any medicine ever since. Falun Gong is not what described by the CCP propaganda. Falun Gong is a cultivation practice that belongs to the Buddha school, and teaches people to cultivate Truth, Compassion, and Forbearance. He then said: "I'm a Christian, and I don't want to talk about Falun Gong with you." I replied: "oh, that's why I can tell you're a kind person, since you believe in divine beings. For people who believe in Gods, they know after death they want to go to heaven. However, CCP wants its members to see Marx, which is in hell. So, which one do you choose. You cannot stand on two boats. In that case, divine being cannot accept you since your heart is not sincere, right?". He thought about it and agreed. Then I said, let me help you quit the CCP, you need to announce it on the Tuidang web site. What's your last name? He said Jiang. Then I suggested to use a nickname as Jiang Tianyou, which means the heaven will protect you. I asked if it is ok with him. He said: "Good! Good!"
