Revered Master and fellow practitioners, my name is Y. C. and the title of my sharing today is “Let go of the self and fulfill our vow of the divine.”

The year of 2016 marks the 5th year since I started to practice. Over the years, I have overcome tribulations big and small. In the process, there are way too much of Master’s compassionate care and help to me. I have nothing to give back to Master, only to report to Master my progress in cultivation, to show my ultimate respect to the Master and also share my experience with fellow practitioners.

Even with family retribution, we marched on

Last year, I promised that I would go to another city to help with Shen Yun promotion. On the day of departure in the afternoon, I suddenly felt all dark in front of my eyes and I was almost passed out. My head was befuddled and felt swollen, my whole body was sour, and I could barely walk or stand. My body felt as if I was having high fever. But I told myself, I already made the promise to go out to help with Shen Yun, how can I go like this? I shared my thought with the auntie in my home and discussed as to what to do. The auntie, who is also a practitioner, thought I should wait and leave the next day so it’s better that way and she would feel more at ease. Yet I told myself, I must fulfill what I promised, and it’s better if I leave today. Just when I was about to leave, my husband said to me, “I feel very uncomfortable, looks like I am having a fever.” Soon after, my two sons were also suffering, the whole family all developed the same symptoms that I had. I had no choice but call the fellow practitioner and said, “My family and I all had severe symptoms of retribution, so I can’t go today. I will go tomorrow.” Fellow practitioner A said to me, “how can you not keep your promise? Just because you had karmic retribution and you will not go? You have such a strong attachment of Qing and use retribution in disguise, how could you be like that?”

At this time, I felt wronged and wanted to explain, but didn’t know exactly how to do that. So I just apologized, as I did make the promise. If it were only for my retribution, there would not be much problem for me to go, but the whole family was suffering from it and I still have Qing and can’t just leave them like that. So I decided to go the next day.

The next morning, I felt better but still very uncomfortable, and my husband and kids were still suffering from retribution. But I can’t care too much about that, as sentient beings are waiting to be saved and I have no reason to postpone any further, but go ahead and leave. I must go today no matter what. I had this thought in my mind, I must leave today, it’s imperative to save people, and my family will get blessings when they endure this with me. I can’t waste time of saving people anymore. I went to my husband and kids and said good bye to them, and they gave me silent support. After that, I left home. It’s miraculous that as soon as I stepped out of the door, my body became much lighter, and when I got into the car, my head was no longer as heavy. Gradually, during the 10 plus hour on the road, my body became lighter and lighter as we got closer and closer to the destination. When we arrive at night, I felt the karma was already gone. While on the road, I really felt Master’s compassion and support on me, during the process when my karma was burned and body restored to normal, Master endured mountainous karma for me without letting disciples know. But I know that from my heart, and I must be diligent in cultivation to repay Master’s kindness. When I waked up the next morning, I almost became a new person with fresh energy and confidence to start out with a new fight against the evil.

Freezing rain and thunderstorm can’t delay me from saving people

Last year during Chinese New Year, I went to North Carolina to help with promoting Shen Yun. As soon as we departed, it started raining. The further north we went, the colder it became, and when we were in South Carolina, there was the freezing rain. There was ice on my tire and windshield wipers, but I kept SFRT till I arrived at the home of L, a North Carolina practitioner. There was no rain here so I felt relieved. But the evil was furious and there were freezing rain and snow at night. The next morning, even though there was bright sun, but it was white all over the place and there were almost no people or vehicles on the road.

I did not think too much and just prepared to go out. Fellow practitioner L and her family tried to stop me, “please do not go today, the snow is thick, road slippery, and very dangerous. There is no school today and all businesses are closed.” I replied, “That won’t do, I am here only for a few days, if I stay home for the day, that will be one day wasted, what about those sentient beings that need to be saved?” I insisted on going. When I tried to open the car door, I found that the car door was unable to open because of packed snow. Practitioner L saw that I was determined to go, she then got me some tools to remove the snow. Soon after, the snow on the car was mostly removed, I just waited for the remaining snow on the car to melt, and then I could go. Suddenly I shouted "The Fa rectifies the cosmos, and the evil is completely eliminated." Practitioner L was shocked and said to me, “wow, you startled me! We have not had such a righteous mind for quite some time!”

The snow melted under the Sunshine and I then drove out. As soon as I arrived at the destination and got out of the car, I felt a sudden blow of cold air toward me, and my stomach immediately felt some unbearable pain. I then realized it was the old forces that tried desperately not to let me continue. Right after I felt such pressure, I stomped on the ground and shouted, “you make me painful, I will make you perish, perish!” Right away I had the urge to go to restroom, and in the restroom, I discharged a lot of greenish and filthy substance, and my body immediately felt fine and the pain disappeared. I continued with door to door promotion by putting up posters, and I was able to put posters on all the stores that were open on that day, and many store owners were moved. This experience let me realize the boundless power that Master said in volume II of Hong Yin, “When disciples have ample righteous thoughts, Master has the power to turn back the tide.” Even though I don’t have my celestial eyes opened, but I know that at that moment, when Master saw that the disciple is having righteous thought, Master took care of everything for disciple, and the evil is dissolved immediately.

Me in another dimension

I once went to another city to promote Shen Yun, and when I arrived there, their ticket sales was at a standstill. But that was only what appears on the surface in this dimension. What local practitioners saw in the other dimension with their celestial eyes was that there were monkeys on all the empty seats in the theatre in the other dimension, and what was shown in this dimension was that the tickets seemed to be locked up and would not sell. When practitioners from other cities heard about this, we decided to fully cooperate with them by studying the Fa, exercise, and SFRT as a group together every day, and go to the theatre at night to SFRT. On the first night, we went to the theatre and we sat on a bench facing the theatre.

When we started to SFRT, I felt the whole field was filled with serenity and peacefulness, powerful, positive energy was emitted to the sky and cosmos continuously, dissolving evils at different levels. That night, a practitioner with celestial eyes open told us about what she saw of me and another practitioner in fighting evils in the other dimension. She saw that I was using a round Fa tool that is silver in color. On my human side, I only felt that my whole body was surrounded by enormous energy, and my gong continuously emited from my body, and suffocating and dissolving evils. We persisted doing it every day, and we were joined by practitioners from local area and other cities, forming a one body. During the day, we maintained our righteous thoughts and cooperated with each other. We had only one thought, that is, we came to clear up the situation so as to let sentient beings be saved by watching Shen Yun.

It turned out, after a few days, the tickets started to sell. On the last day, the night before I left, I was with fellow practitioners SFRT in theatre again. On that night, I felt some unprecedented compassion and boundless power. On the human side, I just felt that I was SFRT and evils were eliminated by the batches. I had one thought at that moment: I came here, and came here to save sentient beings that Master wanted us to save, and nothing could stop this. Even if I had to pay with my life, I would still want to save the beings Master wanted, so please help me Master. On the human side, my tears were all over my face. When I returned home, the practitioner with celestial eyes opened told me, “I saw you in the other dimension as an angel with white robe, standing tall and firmly in the sky fighting with evils. This time, practitioners from all over the places, local or other cities, all formed a one-body and cooperated with each other in eliminating evil and saving sentient beings.”

In the end, the Shen Yun show was a success, the ticket sales were unexpectedly good. Those two experiences of SFRT and what the other practitioner with celestial eyes opened told me made me truly realize the power of Dafa, just as Master said in Essentials for Further Advancement II, “Dafa Disciples’ righteous thoughts are powerful.” This time around, as a new practitioner with celestial eye closed, I witnessed the true journey of assisting Master with Fa rectification, validating the Fa, and saving sentient beings with many diligent, veteran practitioners. Everything is so real, and I can still feel the glory and excellence today. I became more confident with SFRT since then. I am deeply moved by the tremendous compassion of Master on disciples and I am inspired to move straight forward on the path of going back to where we came from. I am completely immersed in the vast compassion of Master and I am really, really too lucky and so happy!

Clarify the truth to police

I once went with two fellow practitioners to go door to door to promote Shen Yun. In the morning, I had a thought that I would do more than other practitioners. With that thought, troubles followed. Security in the community started to notice me. I saw him, but he did not see me, so I continued to distribute the flyers, then a police car stopped by me and the police officer told me, “you can’t distribute flyers here, come on board and I will take you to the entrance.” I got on the police car and soon afterward I started to clarify the truth to the officer. I said, “I am not here distributing flyers to make money for living, my family financial situation is quite superior, and I don’t need to work. This is for public service and I am willing to volunteer for it, I am a volunteer.” I showed the materials to him while talking, and showed him the Shen Yun promo video clip on my cell phone. I then told him, “Shen Yun is to revitalize 5, 000 years of divine culture, the culture that originated from China but was almost all destroyed by the Communist government of China. There are many volunteers like me who are devoting our time and effort to revitalize this great divine culture, with no regard for money or profit. We just want to make everyone know that Shen Yun is coming back to our world, and Shen Yun is not just for Chinese people, but for the entire world.”

Afterward, I gave him a Shen Yun flyer, and at the entrance, the police officer took the flyer and dropped me off. Then he asked me, how many of you are doing it here today? He is in fact trying to test me, he already saw them, and asked them to stop distributing materials. The officer then left. I stood there, looking up in the blue sky, and started to look inward, why do I encounter the police? There must be some loopholes in me so I was interfered with. I told myself, I must find out where I fell short and change it. At that moment a voice asked me, “Didn’t you want to compete with others to see who could do more? Can you still do more now?” I suddenly realized it was my pursuit of fame and profit that produced my competitive mentality. This finding shocked me, every thread of thought of practitioners is so important, it has tremendous impact on us. Looking again, I had such an impure motive in my mind when I came to save people, and it’s a strong attachment to the self. Let it go, that’s not what I wanted. I ask Master to reinforce me and I refuse to acknowledge that thought as mine, and I want to dissolve that improper substance. Just at that moment, the police car and a patrol car suddenly appeared right in front of me. I was shocked, this was just an extremely short time interval! The police asked the patrol car driver to come down and asked for a copy of the Shen Yun flyer, saying, “This is wonderful, you should not miss, I have decided to go see the show!”

The patrol car driver came to me and got a flyer, I told her, “Don’t ever miss this number one show in the world!” Then, the police asked me to get on his car again and said, “I am taking you back to where I picked you up, you can continue to distribute flyers, there is no problem. I can also take you to your friends, and you can ask them to continue as well. Keep going!” We then continued to distribute the flyers. At that moment, I felt that I was engulfed in the light of Fa happily, and positive energy permeated my entire body. I know by my instinct that Master is extremely close to us, watching our every change in mind and thought, safeguarding us, and enlightening us that our hears need to be purer and purer, even more purer, when saving people.

Never give up

This year, our city welcomed the first performance of Shen Yun Symphony Orchestra, and we cooperated better than before, many practitioners who do not usually step out are all willing to devote themselves and cooperate harmoniously. Because this was the first time we do it, we used all the means and tools we can think of. The coordinator arranged to have ticket sale booths in Costco stores, and 70% of the tickets were sold through our overall efforts and persistence. Even though we did not have a full house in the end, but we made some breakthroughs in overall cooperation through promoting Shen Yun Symphony Orchestra. Below is an example of a fellow practitioner who successfully worked with sentient beings to sell SYSO tickets.

Eleven days before Shen Yun Symphony Orchestra was to perform, I got a phone call from a stranger, and till today I still don’t know how the stranger got my phone number. It was at 3:27 pm on October 16, 2015 that she called me and told me that they were going to host a multi-ethnic bicycle race in front of the theater two days before the performance, that she knew of our concert two days later, and hoped we could participate in their activity and present our show information and even sell tickets at the event, as many people would attend the race. I immediately contacted the coordinator of events and overall coordinator, thinking we needed to finalize on utilizing this opportunity as soon as possible, because this event was in the center city next to the theatre and a great opportunity to promote the concert and sell tickets.

Our fellow practitioners quickly made contacts with the organizer and arranged manpower to participate. I know till this day that this is a wonderful opportunity arranged by Master, as otherwise, how could a stranger find me and provide a free booth for our promotion? There must be many sentient beings who are predestined to go to the event and buy tickets to the concert. I was thinking, maybe it’s because when I burn incense for Master and wished Master would bring predestined sentient being to me, and Master saw my wish to save people, therefore this arrangement was made by Master to encourage me. Immediately, I developed in my heart infinite gratitude and reverence towards Master. Master said in “Zhuan Falun” that, “My fashen know everything-they know everything on your mind, and they can do anything. If you do not cultivate, they will not take care of you. If you do cultivate, they will help you all the way to the end.” It’s really so, when our heart is there, everything will be done by Master in the other dimension. Master only looks at the heart of practitioner, a heart that is for saving people and moving upward.

On the day of the event, there were four practitioners who participated in the promotion and ticket selling, and my whole family joined, including fellow practitioner auntie and my kids. Fellow practitioner auntie and kids sent forth righteous thoughts outside of the theatre, and I and two other practitioners collaborated with each other. There were many people passing by at the event, and we distributed Shen Yun flyers non-stop. When we met with people with predestined relationships, we would bring them to the Shen Yun booth to learn about Shen Yun music, and whenever someone came, a fellow practitioner would let them listen to high fidelity Shen Yun music. All those who listened to the music were all shocked and delighted. Those who expressed interests after listening were directed to another practitioner to help them order ticket from the Internet. On that day, the four of us collaborated seamlessly and many people with predestined relationships bought their tickets with delight, and many went to buy tickets online.

One of the ticket buyers was very special, he is an architect and photographer. On that day, he was busy finding people to take pictures with the building that he designed and was under construction. Many people were delighted to cooperate with him. When he was taking a break, I started to introduce Shen Yun music to him, and he said, one of you guys told to me about it, it was also a Chinese woman. It turned out that was wife of one of our fellow practitioners there that day. So we started our conversation. He told a lot about the topics on Chinese culture that he found interesting, and told me that his girlfriend was also Chinese. I never left the topic of Shen Yun and kept bringing the conversation back to Shen Yun. In the end I said to him firmly, go and listen to this classical music feast that is once in a thousand years! I guarantee you will enjoy it and benefit greatly from it, and remember to bring your girlfriend to go together. It took me by surprise that he said, “Oh, that’s not a bad idea, I will call her shortly.” Then he went on with his business.

After a while, I approached him and asked, “Is your girlfriend going to go with you?” He said sorry that she had some trouble and could not make it on that day, and since she couldn’t go, he would not go either. He then went on to take his photographs.

Right away I realized this is interference, as the whole process was very smooth and he almost bought tickets, just then things went off course. I immediately knew I must SFRT for him and ask fellow practitioners to SFRT for him as well. I continued to distribute flyers and at the same time kept SFRT to clear up the evil interferences that blocked him from buying tickets.

Suddenly, I thought I could change the direction and talk to him in a different way. Wasn’t he interested in Chinese culture? Then I should talk to him about Shen Yun. I then went to him and show him the Shen Yun pamphlet. As soon as he saw the pamphlet, he wanted to take a picture. I then told him about what Shen Yun is, why everyone must see Shen Yun, and the global impact of Shen Yun worldwide tour. In the end I encouraged him, “look, the symphony orchestra of the number one show in the world is coming to town, you must seize this opportunity and not miss it. Your girlfriend could not make it this time, why don’t you see it first and then bring the positive energy to her?” He found this reasonable and decided to buy ticket to the concert. I brought him back to the booth and let the other practitioner to continue to talk to him. In the end, we sold an $89 ticket to him that was close to the stage.

On the day of performance something miracle happened. I was working as security in the theatre that day and where I was standing is right next to the architect and photographer that we sold the ticket to the other day. What a coincidence! He is really predestined. During the entire concert, he made a lot of notes on the program book. During the intermission, he started to ask me, “What is Dafa, what is Falun, what’s the difference between the Srivatsa symbols in Falun and Hitler’s thing?” Other practitioners at the scene and I answered all his questions, and he listened quietly, as if this solved many of the eternal puzzles in his mind. That symphony performance made him connected with Dafa, a holy predestined relationship. This is just like what Master said in “Zhuan Falun” that “we believe in predestined relationships.” All the people on earth are relatives of Master, and Master would create all kinds of opportunities to bring people with predestined relationships to disciples, and let them connect with the Fa.

As Fa rectification progresses till today, there are still way too many of Master’s relatives and so many sentient beings for us to clarify the truth to, and sentient beings are longing for us to save them. Dafa disciples are messengers of the Lord Buddha shouldered with historical task and responsibility. We have to do well the three things Master told us to do, let go the selves, cultivate away the attachments, improve our realms, overcome all the difficulties, and step out and cooperate well. With a compassionate heart we can then get in touch with more people with predestined relationships, and will be able live up to the prehistoric, divine vow. Fellow practitioners, let us be diligent together, make good use of the time that Master extended for us with his blood and save people, save people, and save more people!
